In October 2023, a team of researchers comprised of young women from the local area came together with OnSide to decide how they would like Crewe’s upcoming Youth Zone to look. Taking into account accessibility, inclusion and girls’ safety, they visited several Youth Zones across the country and compiled their findings, which were presented in December 2024.
