Inspire Award activities are completely FREE to attend!

Our Inspire award is designed to help young women and girls build skills, aspirations, and confidence to help you #BeYourOwnInspiration.

The Inspire award can be completed independently, but to help you out, we regularly host activities that contribute to your completion of the award.

Our upcoming activity sessions for the Inspire award are:

Wednesday 22nd July

The media and me & Body Image: Explore the positive and negative influences the media has on us, take a deep dive into your favourite inspiring characters, and analyse beauty standards over the years. design a creative piece to speak out against harmful beauty standards.

Wednesday 29th July

Physical activity: Learn about the benefits of being active, and how it doesn’t just mean participating in something you may have done in P.E, including a delf-defence taster session.

Wednesday 5th August

Campaigning and Fundraising: discuss the causes you are passionate about and design a sign to raise awareness for your cause, thinking about how we can influence decision makers to hear our voices!

Wednesday 12th August

Money management and Influencing: Learn about budgeting in a way that’s relevant to you, learn about problem solving to help you achieve your goals, and learn from a real social media manager how you can influence others to create positive change.

Wednesday 19th August

Aspirations and mindfulness: Learn about mindfulness techniques and self-care with demonstrations of reiki and hand massage, learn about grounding techniques, and visualise your goals with a creative vision board session.

Friday 21st August: awards and certificates day:

Participants are invited to an awards day where they will be presented their certificate by Inspire patron, and corrie star- Ellie Leach.

EmpowerHER was designed with care leavers, and those transitioning to independence in mind, created to help young women build vital life skills and knowledge.

Covering a range of topics the EmpowerHER course takes place over 4 weekly sessions, and can be delivered to groups, or individually.

The topics include:
Social skills
Practical skills
Emotional skills
Physical skills

Giving you everything you need to start independent living off on a good foot.

Inspire|Grow therapeutic sessions are designed to help young women build resilience and confidence within themselves. Inspire|Grow is 6 weekly sessions covering a range of topics to give you the tools you need to grow!

Including: confidence, understanding strengths, identifying anxiety, grounding and distraction techniques, with a mentor you will work through your Inspire|Grow workbook, build coping skills, and have personalised resources for you to keep growing!
